There are hundreds of photographs but as a professional photographer it is important to develop a style and it is important for you to find a photography style that matches what you want. I work with a Fine Art approach seamlessly combining photojournalism and lifestyle portraiture. This style is about fusing together an artistic approach with reportage images. It involves consideration of composition, colour palette and light, to create images that capture and evoke emotion.
And when it comes to those beautiful lifestyle portraits you won’t spend endless hours posing. Theres no cheesy moments, or directing you in a traditional sense. In a short 30 minute session we will create relaxed, fun and aesthetically beautiful images.
The rest of the time is about telling the story of your special day. The fun, laughter, the happy tears and romance. Its all about your story, and capturing the moment. Creating a visual story board for you to look back on and treasure for many years. That reminds you of both the candid moments, the stunning details you so lovingly chose. But most importantly the special love you have for each other.
The editing is inspired by filmic tones, crisp greens, natural skin tones, and has a light & luminous quality, integrated with some beautiful black & whites this is a timeless aesthetic, and will therefore still look great in years to come. Of course, this style of editing also seamlessly combines with your stunning film images, that you will receive as as part of a full day package.
